The poker tournament attracted well over 500 entries for a whopping $217k in total prize money being paid out to the top 64 players of the event. As the first place winner, she won over $40k with an exact total of $42,434.

Each of the players who placed between second and fifth place walked away with over $10k in prize money as well.

This isn’t her first run at prize money playing poker, though, as she’s won over $300k from tournament cash games all time, with this win being her biggest.

The Florida poker room in Jacksonville, where the tournament was held, is considered one of the best in the southeast region and is an annual host of the World Poker Tour.

Not The Only Poker Figure To Win

Lukina is not the only support staff in the poker world to have claimed victory at the table. Liam Gannon, a WSOP reporter, has found his name at the top of the leaderboards before as well. At the Grand Victoria casino in Illinois, Gannon won a $600 No-Limit Hold’em tournament as well, walking away with $19,625 as the first place winner over 150+ participants.
